Dear Friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday...looking at all of the conditions for happiness you have in every moment and thanking those who make a difference in your lives. I am thankful for every one of you. I am so happy that our paths have connected in this lifetime. I am feeling thankful especially for Thich Nhat Hanh and how he has taught us to make every day a day of Thanksgiving.

I wanted to thank all of you who were able to be with us for the Sangha Thanksgiving last Sunday. It was truly lovely to be with so many wonderful people having a luscious dinner and being joyfully together. Right there is a good reminder that there is everything to be thankful for. Here is the video that we shared...some of you wanted the link...here it is! Nature, beauty and gratitude....Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2egMSliB8DE

We will be gathering this coming Sunday at 6 PM at St. Augustine's on Lower College Rd. in Kingston, RI. I We will enjoy sitting/walking/sitting meditation, Renee will facilitate and Cindy will mind the bell and we will share the Dharma. There should be parking available...we are also permitted to use the lot at the Child Development Center across the street. I hope you will be able to be with us.

Requests for help:

For those of you across the bay, the Peaceful Waters Sangha will gather on Monday the 26th at St. Paul's Methodist Church on Marlborough St. in Newport at 6:30. Margaret will be facilitating and Ann will be minding the bell. It is a new sangha and they are looking for support. If you have had experience facilitating, and would like to volunteer for one of their sittings, you might contact Ann at amski1965@yahoo.com.

Engaged Practice Opportunity. We have been holding all of our friends from California in our hearts. Those who have survived the horrific fires have been left with nothing. I know many of us have been looking for ways to help. Here is a link to a list of organizations that are helping...in case you would like to support them. https://www.nbcnews.com/better/news/how-help-victims-california-wildfires-ncna936911?cid=sm_npd_ms_fb_bw&fbclid=IwAR2sz9OlBzK-Ydm7orrDILHUWJVnYLEFbBZKpN21VHpWjxDCqifmENnOj4U
