3-4-18 Sangha Update

March comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb?

Farmers Almanac

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.

Charles Dickens

"The afternoon is bright, with spring in the air, a mild March afternoon, with the breath of April stirring, I am alone in the quiet patio looking for some old untried illusion - some shadow on the whiteness of the wall some memory asleep on the stone rim of the fountain, perhaps in the air the light swish of some trailing gown." - Antonio Machado, 1875-1939

Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you well and happy and I hope that you all weathered the storms well. The snowdrops and emerging daffodils give us some inklings of the beauty to come.

This is just a reminder that there will be a gathering this evening at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South Kingstown at 6 PM.We will enjoy sitting meditation, Clare will facilitate a sharing of the Dharma and we will continue to learn from Thay's book, Creating True Peace, and have a Recitation of the Five Mindfulness Trainings. I hope that you will be able to be us.

I want to apologize to those of you who might have been trying to contact me during the past month. My recovery from surgery has truly been a very big challenge.Sort of like tip toeing through a mine field. Thank you for your prayers. I have not been spending much time on the internet, so if I have not responded, please re-send.
