Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the infinite peace to you
To pray you open your whole self
To sky, to earth, to sun, to moon
To one whole voice that is you.
And know there is more
That you can't see, can't hear
Can't know except in moments
Steadily growing, and in languages
That aren't always sound but other
Circles of motion.
Like eagle that Sunday morning
Over the Salt River. Circled in blue sky
In wind, swept our hearts clean
With sacred wings.
We see you, see ourselves and know
That we must take the utmost care
And kindness in all things.
Breathe in, knowing we are made of
All this, and breathe, knowing
We are truly blessed because we
Were born, and die soon, within a
True circle of motion,
Like eagle rounding out the morning
We pray that it will be done

I hope this finds you well and happy, enjoying this spring-like day.
Thank you for all of your birthday wishes, last Sunday and since. Synchronicity - yesterday, to celebrate, we went down the Connecticut River watching eagles...We saw 37 of them! It was glorious. We got home to find that Sue Morgan, who was a pillar of our Sangha while she and Roger lived in RI,(now they practice with us from CA) had sent me a birthday poem....Eagle Poem! -(above) How perfect is that? I love this universe and being surrounded by such a beautiful community is a true blessing!
This is just a reminder that there will be a gathering at 6 PM Sunday at the home of the Van Horns. (directions below) There will be sitting meditation/ walking/ sitting and a sharing of the Dharma. I hope you will be able to attend

For those of you who have been sitting with us on the third Sundays know that I have been focusing on our practices for being mindful of our minds so that we do not develop a "them and us" view. This is a video that beautifully illustrates our true nature of interbeing....a wonderful reminder at this time of so much divisiveness in our country. Enjoy!
with much love, gratitude and many hugs for you,
