In the garden of my heart, the flower of peace blooms beautifully. -Thich Nhat Hanh

Dear Friends,

I hope that you are well, enjoying this beautiful spring day and allowing the flower of peace to bloom in your heart.

This is just a reminder that we will be gathering on Sunday evening at our home at 725 Matunuck School House Rd in Wakefield. We will enjoy a sitting meditation, outdoor walking meditation,(weather permitting) I will offer a talk and we will share the Dharma. It will be a delight to be able to be together. I hope you will be able to be with us.

No Sangha on the 22!!!!!! There will not be a Sangha gathering next week as the Van Horn's are unable to host and I will be at the Aldersgate Retreat.

There will be a Generations Sangha this coming  Saturday at the Westminster Unitarian Church on Kenyon Ave in East Greenwich at 10 AM. This is a sangha for all ages. There will be songs and stories and a project for the children and a sitting meditation and sharing for the adults....the gathering ends at 11:30 and for those who can stay, there are snacks and fellowship until 12 noon.

I wanted to thank all of you who have been sending me prayers. I had a round of tests last week at Sloane Kettering...just got the results yesterday and learned that there has been no progression ...no change in the scans in over three years. So my expiration date has yet again been extended! Your prayers and good wishes are a wonderful support for me. Thank you.

with much love and gratitude, Joanne
