6-12-15 Sangha Update

A Forest of Foxglove has appeared in our back yard! For years we tried to plant it in the garden and get it to grow where we wanted it to be. ...It never worked. It seeks it's own spot where conditions are just right for it and manifests gloriously. The foxglove is a very wise and good teacher!

Dear Friends,

I hope you are all well and happy and enjoying this glorious day. As if the foxgloves were not enough....I am looking out over rhododendron, wigelia, irises, hummingbirds, etc, etc, etc! What a wonderful world!

This is just a reminder that there will be a gathering at the home of Cindy West on Sunday evening at 6 PM. I will post the directions below. There will be sitting and walking meditation, looking together at  the next section of the book, "Reconciliation", and sharing the Dharma. I hope you will be able to attend.

This is also a reminder that the Cape Sangha Retreat registration is open. It is a lovely gathering in a very beautiful setting and it tends to fill up quickly, so if you would like to attend, here is the information for registration Thursday, September 10 – Sunday, September 13, 2015 Craigville Retreat Center, Centerville, MA Space is limited.  For registration info, download flyer and registration form here:  cape-sangha-retreat-2015 For additional info, contact Jean Begg at hidstone@verizon.net or Nancy Wilder at nancy.wilder@comcast.net

DIRECTIONS TO THE WEST HOME from Cindy........... We live about 2 miles from URI.  From rt 138, go north onto Old North Rd.  (across the street from  big sign ““Kingston Hill Store  Books  Used and Rare””.  Also, just a smidge west of the 138/108 traffic light).  Old North Rd starts off as a one way, continues on as a two way street, and finally ends as a T.  You will see our corner property from there.  Go left at the T (Old North Rd meets Stoneyfort Rd), and then a quick right onto Plantation Dr.  We are the first home on the right (2nd driveway is easiest).  Come on in the side door (porch/kitchen)!
