5-2-15 Sangha Update

The earth is coming back to life in all her splendor!

“The deep roots never doubt spring will come.” Marty Rubin

“It was such a spring day as breathes into a man an ineffable yearning, a painful sweetness, a longing that makes him stand motionless, looking at the leaves or grass, and fling out his arms to embrace he knows not what.” John Galsworthy

“Spring work is going on with joyful enthusiasm.” John Muir

Dear Friends,

I hope you are all well and happy and  enjoying every minute of this glorious time of year.

This is just a reminder that there will be a gathering tomorrow (Sunday) evening at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South County at the Lily Pads complex on North Rd in Peace Dale  at 6 PM. There will be a sitting meditation and Clare will be facilitating the next chapter on  the seven factors of awakening from The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching  She will also provide a glimpse of the OI/Aspirant retreat which just took place at Blue Cliff Monastery. There will also be a recitation of the Five Mindfulness Trainings. I hope you will be able to be there.

Speaking of the retreat, if you would like to listen to some of the sharing ....Brother Phap Khong posted two of the talks from that retreat on my Facebook page...if you have access to Facebook....and others are available on youtube..just type in Bcm OI Retreat.  Enjoy!

Remember, next Saturday is the Generations Sangha at the Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich from 10-11:30 AM. It's a Sangha for all ages and very delightful. All are welcome.

I hope to be able to be with all of you soon. Until then.....I am...

sending love and hugs and the joyful lullaby of the spring peepers for you, Joanne
