Dear Friends,

Good Morning!  I hope you are all well and happy and experiencing a collective awakening!

We just returned form the Climate March in NYC. We were led by indigenous people with signs of sunflowers..which have been symbolic of Plum Village...they have the ability to soak up and transform toxins from the earth...healing and transformation.

We came from every ethnic group, faith tradition, from Micronesia to Manhattan to acknowledge our interbeing and dependence on and love for the planet. The ignorance of our interconnection to all that is, has led to decision making that has led our species on a path to destroy ourselves. It was wonderfully inspiring to see so many had awakened....and created a beloved community. There is hope!

You can listen to a lovely interview with Thay and Jo Cofino of "The Guardian " at http://www.ecobuddhism.org/wisdom/interviews/tnh-be Enjoy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to our Jewish friends.  Rosh Hashanah is a beautiful holiday and the beginning of ten days of reflection and repentance in preparation for Yom Kippur. It is the time to look at our past year, make amends to those we have harmed so we can begin anew for the new year. A wonderful practice!

Speaking of practice, we will have an opportunity to do just that....we will be gathering this Sunday evening at our home (725 Matunuck School House Rd) at 6 PM. We will enjoy sitting and walking meditation, I will offer a talk and we will share the Dharma. I hope you will be able to be with us.

but... we will have an opportunity to be joyfully together  even before then!....
