Dear Friends,
I hope you are well and happy and, like the trees, happily letting go of everything that is not serving you well.
There will be a gathering this coming Sunday, Nov. 1 at 6 PM at  the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South County in the Lily Pads complex on North Rd. in Peace Dale. There will be sitting meditation, a discussion of Thich Nhat Hanh's book "Fear" Clare will facilitate the meeting, Ellen will give a synopsis of the next chapter and there will be a sharing of the Dharma and recitation of the Five Mindfulness Trainings. I hope you will be able to be there!
Please continue to keep Sue and Roger Morgan and their 16 year old grandson Orion in your prayers at 8PM each day. Orion continues to endure very difficult chemotherapy.
The Mind Tamers Sangha will meet at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at Sts. Matthew and Mark Church on Chapel Rd in West Barrington. Don and Shirley will be facilitating the meeting and there will be sitting/walking/sitting, a short talk and a sharing of the Dharma. I hope you will be able to be there.
Will be meeting at 6 PM on November 13,  at Westminster Unitarian Church on Kenyon Ave. in East Greenwich.  We will enjoy sitting/walking/sitting, a short talk and sharing the Dharma. I hope you will be able to be with us.
There will be our monthly OI/Aspirant gathering at the Bell Street Chapel at 9:45 on Saturday, Nov. 16. We will have a Recitation Ceremony and a Dharma Sharing about the Sutra on the full Awareness of the Breath. (in the Chanting Book). This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about our Order.

As mentioned at our last mailing....The Brown Contemplative Studies Initiative has lots of wonderful teachers and  good programs that they offer.  Sharon Salzberg is scheduled to be there this weekend... Friday night and Saturday...more info is available at
