What fun! Thank you to the Mind Tamers for organizing our RI Community of Mindfulness picnic for the six RI Sanghas and thank you to all of you who contributed wonderful food, games, songs, and most of all your true presence. A beautiful place, wonderful people, lots of love.... It was a total delight! (I will try to find a way to send all the photographs)
CLEAR HEART SANGHA will be gathering this coming Sunday at the UU Church at the Lily Pads complex on North Road in Peace Dale at 6:00. We will have a sitting, Clare will facilitate, Phyllis will offer a synopsis of the next Chapter in "The Heart of the Buddha's Teachings" on Right Thinking. We will share the Dharma and Recite the Five Mindfulness Trainings. I hope you will be able to be with us.
MIND TAMERS will be gathering on Tuesday evening at Sts. Matthew and Mark Church on Chapel Rd. in West Barrington at 6:30. We will have sitting/walking/sitting, I will offer a short talk about Engaged Practice and we will share the Dharma. I hope you can come sit with us!
CLEAR PATH SANGHA will be gathering on Wednesday evening at the Westminster Unitarian Church on Kenyon Ave. in East Greenwich, at 6:00 PM. We will have sitting/ walking/sitting meditation and I will offer a short talk about using our practice to deal with the challenging times in which we live. We will share the Dharma and enjoy our togetherness. Come and join us!
GENERATIONS SANGHA will gather next Saturday, October 12... from 10-11:30 AM at Westminster Unitarian Church in East Greenwich. If you are available, please come and make this a true Sangha for all ages. It is a lot of fun. We have songs, sometimes games, a Dharma talk, outdoor walking (weather permitting) and from 11:30-12 there will be snacks and fellowship. I hope you will be able to join us.

There is a wonderful Honors Colloquium happening at URI again this year. The topic this time is Education. Some info is below. Many of the talks will be live-streamed and recorded for those who cannot attend. Our own Clare Sartori is one of the sponsors of what sounds to be a wonderful concert as part of Music at the Lily Pads....
