Jazz is really a wonderful example of the great characteristics of Buddhism and great characteristics of the human spirit. Because in jazz we share, we listen to each other, we respect each other, we are creating in the moment.

Dear Friends,

I hope you are well and happy and enjoying your Interdependence with everything and everyone.
We will be gathering this Sunday evening at 6:00 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of South County at the Lily Pads complex on North Rd. in Peace Dale.
There will be sitting meditation, Clare will facilitate the discussion of Chapters 5 and 6 in "The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching", there will be a sharing of the Dharma, a recitation of the Five Trainings and the chance to enjoy each other and the Sangha wisdom. I hope you will be able to come.
Remember, there will be a Transmission Ceremony for the Five Mindfulness Trainings on July 20 at the Bell Street Chapel in Providence at 10 AM. If you are interested in receiving the Transmission I have included the application form below. You can send it back via email or snail mail. If you have any questions about it, please contact me.
