“Still water reflecting what is real, what is true ... on a peaceful summer evening for you,
Peace is all around us — in the world and in nature — and within us — in our bodies and our spirits.
Once we learn to touch this peace, we will be healed and transformed. It is not a matter of faith; it is a matter of practice.” —Thich Nhat Hanh
I hope you are well and happy, with a still mind and enjoying this beautiful evening. We have been reminded that impermanence exists on numerous occasions this springtime.

Then we will have our Dharma sharing. I hope that you will be able to be with us. To be together and to be peace is a wonderful thing!
Great News!!!! Ginny Fox created the Peace Flag Project a number of years ago. She has been working diligently to raise awareness and create peace on the planet ever since. This year, in honor of the International Day of Peace, she has arranged with the organizers of Water Fire to have a Silent Walking Meditation to begin the Water Fire on Saturday, Sept 24. We want to have all the faith traditions represented and all of those working for peace. Please save the date....more info to follow as it becomes available. This will be a wonderful way to share our practice of peace with the larger community. I hope you will able to support this event.
More great good news There is now a website called Plum Village Online Monastery. Go to pvom.org to see videos of Thay’s latest Dharma talks! There is also a facebook page (same name)...if you do facebook!

Download the registration form here: Cape-Sangha-Retreat-2011 or go to the calendar page to see a full schedule of events. This is a lovely retreat in a lovely setting. I hope you will be able to join us.
Movie recommendation “Buck” a documentary about the horse trainer who inspired Robert Redford’s “Horse Whisperer” film a number of years ago. A beautiful example of transformation and healing as well as powerful visual images that illustrate how we transmit and receive energy every minute...and the effect that transmission has on other beings. We saw it at the Cable Car in Providence...not sure if it is still there. Enjoy!
